ERODED

A series of objects reflecting human activity on erosion

Human activity has impacted the natural rate massively multiplying the natural rate of erosion by 10-15 times. Human activities like construction, logging and mining all contribute to this accelerated rate as people fail to see the issue to these normal everyday tasks without seeing the effect it is having on the landscape. Nature itself is a sculptor consistently chipping away at the land and "Eroded" mirrors the process of erosion forcing nature to sculpt at accelerated rate through burning wood, smashing sand and splitting soil to help communicate the tole this normal human activity is having on the landscape.

"Eroded" takes the form of a series of objects reflecting erosion through natural materials like wood, sand, soil and stone.
